The time I talked about YOU becoming a coach

If you would have told me 6 months ago that I would be sharing things on the inter webs like I have been lately, I would have thought you were completely nuts. And I probably would have told you so.

But since I've started blabbing--an amazing thing has happened. My words have resonated with some people! Mostly busy moms like me who have take on this huge burden to be every thing and everyone to everyone else in their lives--except themselves.

On the surface, I should have been so happy. Euphoric even. But I wasn't. I was feeling even worse about it all because I have a great career, I am married to a wonderful person, I have healthy children, I live in a beautiful house and even with those things to be thankful for, something was missing. What the hell was wrong with me?!

Are you drunk?

I eventually figured out that the thing that was missing was self-care. I was putting everyone and everything else first and failing them all. So what did I do? I added something else to my plate-- crazy, right?

But wait--not really. Why not? Because the thing I added was this health coaching business. I love taking care of people and feeling like I am actually helping people (it's why I went to law school after all). And through this business I am able to take care of myself, help other people who may be feeling like I was, and make money doing it.

I am building a community of people who want the same thing--to better themselves so that they may serve others. I am building a community of people who have a passion for a life well-lived and make no apologies for it. I am building a community of people who want to set themselves free from the things that are wearing them down, making them walk through life with gritted teeth.

If that sounds like you, I am inviting you to join me in a live Facebook event where you will get a glimpse at what this coaching thing is all about.

The LIVE "What is Coaching?!" Happy Hour event is this Wednesday at 6:00pm PST / 9:00pm EST!! Message me, send an email, put up a smoke signal--whatever it takes--and I will add you to the event!
