I did that about 6 weeks ago. I have 2 more weeks to go in a new workout program that I am in love with. (I can't wait to share my results!) I also cleaned up my diet and got rid of some bad habits that had taken over.
In particular, I had gotten in the habit of drinking a glass of wine nearly every day. Mind you, I wasn't getting drunk or anything, but the weekday drinking combined with maybe a drink or two on Saturday nights was really adding up. And making me foggy, lethargic, cranky.
I also had a bad sugar habit--reaching for M&Ms each afternoon and Starbucks lattes several mornings each week. It was not a good scene. The energy highs and crashes started taking their toll. I was tired all the time and feeling "baseline crappy."
