Pretty In Peplum

This is an older project that I'm now just finding time to share.

I got to test the Pretty In Peplum pattern by Abby at Sew Much Ado.

This is the second pattern I've tested for her (the first one is here) and I just love how everything I make using her patterns turns out so well. They look polished and I managed to sew 2 dresses in one night (even though I had to stay up way past my bedtime to do it).

This pattern is a must-buy because it's so versatile. You can do a top, a dress, short sleeve, long, three-quarter, sleeveless, make it a tank top, the list goes on and the little peplum adds a dash of style.

I was assigned to test two different size dresses--one little and one big.

The little:

and the big:

Although it looks like a shirt and skirt, it's actually a dress.
I just love the fabric!
It's April Rhodes ( a fellow Columbus resident) Arizona, Desert Blanket in Desert.

Look at how the peplum swings.
