Fantasy vs. Reality

As Kenny Rodgers sings, "you've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to run."

I had to fold them and run this week.

Nick is entering the toddler room at his daycare. This means lots of fun new experiences and a cot!
Yes--a cot. No more baby cribs at school. I'm nervous. He has no idea it's coming. But he does need a nap mat. And of course, my first instinct was to make him one.

My fantasy:
"Ohhh--it will be so cute with custom fabric and awesome homemade bias tape all around. No other kid at school will have one like it...."

My Reality:
"Who am I kidding?  He needs it by Thursday. It's Monday. I have a job AND I (unfortunately) require sleep."

Thank you Amazon Prime 2-day shipping!
